How Did We Review Dating Site CoupleDates

With a rising number of dating sites on the market, it can be hard to tell which ones are reliable and which ones are just a big scam. That's why we decided to take a closer look at CoupleDates – a dating site that offers couples and singles the chance to find each other and find love. We created a test male user account and purchased a subscription in order to get a full view of the features, search for potential partners, and explore potential issues and red flags. So, can you trust CoupleDates with your heart, or does it just offer an empty promise? Read on to find out.

First Impression On CoupleDates

CoupleDates is a mobile-free dating site that requires a subscription and does not offer any innovative features, compared to the standard online dating services. It does belong to a dating network that has a bad reputation. Free features include browsing dating profiles and searching them by age, location and more. Additionally, CoupleDates has a Like Gallery, similar to how Tinder works. Visitors can favorite other member's profiles, view other member's likes, and receive matches. The paid subscription comes with additional features, such as the ability to chat with other members, view full scaled photos, and expanded search results. With its standard features and the bad reputations of its parent company, CoupleDates is a regular dating site, with its only advantage being its large user base.

Red Flag: Fake Profiles

Are you looking for love on CoupleDates? You may want to think again! Our research has found that the site is full of fake profile pages, specifically set up to lure in naive men who think they are up for a bit of romance.

From the minute you enter the website, you see a great number of women's profiles - far too many for it to be true! After we did a reverse Google images search on many of the photos, we came across multiple scammy profiles. Even the women who were supposedly real weren't who they said they were. In fact, surprisingly some of those photos belonged to well-known models and influencers. So, it's safe to say that CoupleDates is full of fraud.

In conclusion, CoupleDates is not the place to be looking for a real relationship. Too many of the profiles are fakes, set up to attract unsuspecting horny men ... beware!

Red Flag: Bot Messages

My experience of CoupleDates was like living in a virtual world populated by bots - I was regularly approached by women who seemed too keen and everything was, well, just a little too good to be true! My attempts to arrange a real date were met with little success and between all the automated messages that bombarded me non-stop, it became more and more clear to me that I was dealing with bots rather than real humans. All in all, I have to conclude that CoupleDates has a somewhat questionable quality of users and you'd be better off searching for a real, genuine date elsewhere.

Red Flag: Misleading Subscription Model

The paid subscription model offered by CoupleDates is misleading and expensive. To make it look like a more viable choice to the users, they display prices per day or per week, rather than the true monthly rate. Although they offer a trial version to persuade users to start paying, they do not clearly communicate that if they fail to cancel the trial it will automatically turn into a monthly subscription, which is not cheap given that it could cost anything from 30 to 60 dollars per month. Additionally, they use another trick that makes people believe that the first month's subscription is discounted from 30 to 50%, but in the next month they increase the subscription rate, suddenly charging customers double the amount. CoupleDates's subscription model is designed to benefit them and trap users into costly contracts.

Red Flag: Shady Dating Network

The dating site CoupleDates is part of a wider network of dating sites. According to the terms of service, CoupleDates belongs to a network of similar dating sites and are allowed to reuse profiles on other sites of their network, such as BeNaughty, BeFlirty, NastyMams, and LuvCougar. This raises the questions: how many sites does their network consist of? Just how similar are they? Who are their Group Companies?

As stated in their Privacy Policy, "We operate a large number of social, dating, lifestyle, and entertainment sites (including mobile applications) through our Group Companies and Partner Sites". This suggests that the CoupleDates network includes numerous dating sites, some of which might be registered under different company names. Curiously, all these sites seem to have the same features, almost identical terms and conditions, and payment systems. It is debatable whether this is beneficial to the customer as it could create a false sense of transparency and egalitarianism.

In addition, CoupleDates has a policy in their terms and conditions that allows them to "send...an email shortly afterward advising that we have created a duplicate profile on our Partner Sites to enhance your chance of finding a suitable match". This prompts the questions: does this duplicate profile contain the same data and images as the customer's profile on CoupleDates? What security measures are in place to guarantee the customer's data will remain private?

Is CoupleDates Worth Your Time and Money?

In conclusion, I think it's safe to say that CoupleDates is definitely not worth your time or money. Not only is it a bad example of how an online dating site should operate, but it is also likely to be a complete rip-off. With bot messages, fake profiles, and a misleading subscription model, it's almost guaranteed that you will be getting scammed if you decide to use this site. Furthermore, the company behind the site, InfraWeb Solutions Limited, has been linked to multiple similar scammy dating sites with an almost identical subscription model. From what I have gathered in my review, it seems obvious that CoupleDates is nothing more than a well-organized rip-off. If you are looking for an online dating site that is legitimate and safe, you should definitely look elsewhere.
