At IrishTemptation, fake profiles are used to lure in naive men looking for love and the cleverly worded terms of service mention something about "profiles for entertainment purposes". These fake profiles are even marked with a heart symbol saying "physical contact is not possible" and yet, it's not obvious that they use fake profiles. Each step while completing the sign-up provides a chance to read the terms of service, whereupon the third screen amongst the six of them, finally mentions their use of fake profiles - so it's likely that most are missed. Don't be fooled - stay safe and be aware!

Users can browse profiles and use the profile search feature to look for women meeting certain criteria, send 3 messages, like up to 20 profiles, and play a tinder-like game of swiping to like profiles. However, the prices for these services are extremely high, as you are charged per message with no subscription-based option. On top of already expensive fees, the higher packages offer a lower per-message rate, which can still mean a hefty sum for chatting. Despite the common scam tactics in use, at least with this site you know exactly what you are being charged for and it won't catch you off guard with any hidden fees.

I am surprised and a little angry to find out that the company Direct Marketing B.V located at Stormsweg 2-E, 2921LZ Krimpen aan den IJssel, The Netherlands runs the dating site IrishTemptation, as well as many other similar dating sites. All of these dating sites have the same or very similar terms of service, pricing, and design elements. Even worse, Direct Marketing B.V admits that you are not talking to real women on these sites, but to chat agents that get paid to chat with you. That's why I would not recommend IrishTemptation or any other dating site run by Direct Marketing B.V. We find that IrishTemptation is not worth the money because the majority of profiles on the dating site are not verified and appear to be fake. Furthermore, the messaging system of the site is expensive and it is likely that people are only chatting with chat agents instead of real women. Thus, we do not recommend using IrishTemptation to look for a real Irish match.
