LuvCougar claims to be an online dating platform designed for men who like independent women in their 30s and above. However, as our test results revealed - it is a scam website that reuses the same format as other fishy dating sites.
For the purpose of this review, we registered on this site to explore the website and discover its true intentions for its visitors.
Tired of looking for the right kind of woman to fulfill your desires only to end up getting scammed? Fortunately, there are still better and more legit platforms out there. Avoid LuvCougar at all costs and sign up for one of the alternatives we've listed instead.
We believe that everyone deserves some thrill, no matter what a person’s age is. However, some take advantage of that thought and turn it into a scam.
LuvCougar is an online dating site for men who want to have a good time with mature women. It’s very easy to navigate throughout the dashboard, thanks to its simplistic design. It also has a matching mini-game, similar to Tinder’s signature swiping game, where you swipe right for a girl you like and swipe left if she’s not your type. However, while it helps simplify things by having a dedicated platform full of cougars, it is not what you think it is.
It may seem like an excellent opportunity to hook up with middle-aged women, but unfortunately, the profiles you will find on the website are fake or inactive. Most of the profiles we checked on the site are just duplicated from other dating sites. Some pictures are even from well-known internet personalities, which were obviously stolen to create a phony biography.
InfraWeb Solution Limited, the company behind LuvCougar, has made dating sites with specific women, including big women, single mothers, and girls that just turned 18. The company is also known for having a bad reputation for creating sites full of bots.
When we went through LuvCougar, it was nothing else but a copied version of other scam dating sites. It’s safe to say that this one won’t give you the satisfaction and connection you need.
In summary, the website feels so bland. It is nothing short of a terrible dating service full of phony profiles and some questionable statements in its Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
We subscribed for a month to check if we can have real conversations with ladies and read their bios to see if they are real as they say they are. This investigation was worth five days to crack down LuvCougar and get the required evidence.
As soon as you create a profile, you will see many other single mothers interested in talking with you. Because I had the impression that I had seen several of the profiles before on another website that I have tested and reviewed, I have reason to believe that many of the profiles are just duplicates.
You will probably notice that most of the photographs are either taken from social media or stolen from another dating app such as Bumble or Tinder. There are no verification indicators to differentiate legitimate profiles from fake ones, making the situation much more questionable.
Doing a reverse-Google image search using a picture from any profile will reveal it belongs to a model or social media influencer without their consent. From this alone, it’s easy to know which ones are fake profiles.
A scam dating service relies heavily on fake profiles and automated messages sent by bots. Scammers do this because if you click on their links, they can earn revenue from it. My freshly created account received over 12 new messages in just 30 minutes. They came from beautiful women claiming to be in their 40. It's incredible how this happened so quickly. See my inbox on LovCougar:

This is also where I took advantage of the subscription and messaged over 50 different women using opening lines that I premade before creating an account. The vast majority of them would not respond, but the few that did would either provide an answer that was unrelated to the question or would just state that they desired to have sexual relations with me.
I usually respond to those who have contacted me by asking simple questions about their well-being, such as "how are you doing?" and "are you doing anything tonight?" They either give super naughty responses, or they remain silent.
In addition to this, these profiles are always active. They never stop communicating, whether it's 2:30 in the afternoon or 4:30 in the morning. Even cougars hungry for man need some sleep, right?
The fact that LuvCougar is manufactured solely for male customers in the United States raises additional red flags, given that InfraWeb Solution Limited is a business with its headquarters in Hong Kong.
Because content from other websites has been recycled into Infraweb Solution's website, I have the impression that the company is affiliated with other questionable businesses. The devil is in the details of their Privacy Policy, particularly the information they collect about you.
Collects Your Social Media Profile
"Some of our Services have the ability to link your use of the Services to other social networks you might have access to. If you have an account with another social network e.g. Facebook, you can share the data you have on our site with that network. To enhance your experience and create a personalized service we may ask you to log in to your Facebook account. By doing so you consent and grant us access to your information stored on your Facebook profile including without limitation your personal information, photographs, media content, interests and locations."
When you build a profile, the organization will examine your location, browsing history, and cookies to ensure that you are who you say you are. That also implies that if you give them access to your Facebook account, they can learn details about your friends and the activities you participate in.
Oddly, it only goes after the user's Facebook account and not their other social media accounts.
Collects Your Information to Copy to Partner Sites
"When you sign up to any one of our Services we will send you an email shortly afterwards advising that we have created a duplicate profile on our Partner Sites to enhance your chance of finding a suitable match. When we email you about this you will have the option to decline this service, which costs nothing extra."
If you create a profile on LuvCougar, the company reserves the right to replicate it on other dating services. Your photographs, descriptions, and even your Facebook page are all included in this (if you choose to link it to your LuvCougar profile).
To put it another way, the general public can view your profile on questionable dating sites.
LuvCougar will try to get you to buy their services, which include unlimited chats, bigger photos, better search results based on what you like, and better customer service.
It provides several payment plans to choose from. It isn't clear how much they will charge you at the end because it shows daily costs but charges you monthly. We're not exactly sure how they can explain this briefly, but according to the site, these are the options you have:

LuvCougar never tells you that the prices will increase by 30% when it renews your credit. For example, after the initial 3-month plan, your daily rate will increase to $0.77.
There is a list of what you'll be charged for below the button that says "PAY NOW," but it is grayed out. If you choose to pay for the 3-month plan, you will pay $45.44 for the remaining 90 days rather than the "per day" credit given to you at the checkout counter. This is because the 3-month plan costs more than the 1-month plan.
Too hard to comprehend, right?
The most important thing to note is that LuvCougar will automatically renew your plan each month. You can cancel it anytime via the options page in your profile, but it may take several days before they can confirm it. Plus, there are no refunds. Once you pay, you will not get it back, even if you demand it from customer service.
Speaking of customer service, our team attempted to get in touch with customer care. They got back to us within a few hours, but it took them several days to respond to our inquiry about canceling the membership. We were really fortunate that the website could cancel it effectively; however, we cannot say the same for many people who are still having trouble canceling their subscriptions.
This website has very few redeeming qualities. However, on the bright side, there aren't many advertisements. Compared to websites that use pop-up windows, this one's advertising takes up only a small portion of your screen real estate because of its sidebar layout.
LuvCougar is nothing more than a scam that will get you to join a questionable dating site that won't assist you in meeting hot mature singles and sexy mothers to socialize with. It is undeniably a scam due to the population of fake profiles, the insufferable flow of spam messages, the fact that it is connected with other fraudulent websites, and its incomprehensible subscription model, which makes it very difficult to terminate a person's membership.
No, you won't find your ideal sugar mommy here, just a collection of artificial cougars hoping to steal your time and money.
By phone free helpline: 1 (800) 894-9138
LuvCougar dating site is free to register for but to chat with other members freely and explore all features, you will need to buy one of their subscription packages.
Depending on which package you will get and which country you are from - expect to pay something from $20 to $40 per month.
The short answer is no. This dating site is associated with a shady dating network that owns hundreds of similar websites with very bad reviews online. The amount of legit and genuine profiles on this site is highly questionable. The subscription model is misleading and hard to cancel. Overall seems to be just another dating site aiming to rip off naive men. Don't fall for it.
There is no official Mobile Application for the LuvCougar dating site.
