MyLocalCrush is a scam in more ways than one, just like every other dubious online dating service. The business responsible for this dating platform, Meteor Interactive B.V. developed a huge variety of scammy dating sites promising real hookups, but never delivering their promises. See why:

The basic premise of MyLocalCrush remains the same as many other dating apps out there: guys sign up, look through profiles, and set up dates with the women they prefer.

Surprisingly, in the 21st century, the site has no mobile Application and does not advertise on social media platforms. They don't even have a description of what is this dating site all about on their homepage.

Registration is relatively easy if you use a legit email address and verify it immediately. Once you land on the dashboard, multiple extremely seductive and fake women profiles will approach you. Of course, you have to buy credits for a ridiculous amount of money in order to chat with them. There is a Tinder-like game to flirt with other members, it's free to use. That's pretty much all it offers, nothing more or less than an average old-fashioned dating site.

Setting up a real date on this dating site will be a real challenge (if possible at all). 

You can't trust MyLocalCrush. It's only known for its bogus, fake profiles and its expensive credits. However, other dating sites will help you find someone honest and will not break your wallet at the same time.

Before you begin your sexcapade, you will need to agree to several of their terms and conditions. Right after you create a username with a designated email address, it wants you to agree to six conditions. The moment you say no to any of them - including the option for the site to send you news and notifications to your email - you cannot enter the site. 

However, the most suspicious of them all is the third condition which reads, “I would like to chat with all profiles on this website, even though I am aware that I cannot make physical arrangements with the fictional entertainers’ profiles, which are marked with a heart icon to distinguish the fantasy profiles from member profiles.”

Wait a minute, didn’t the site promise the visitor that they will get some hot sex with an attractive person in their area? Although, they might have put it on the website because they are self-aware of the fake accounts - which we assume they created themselves due to the heart icon of a fake profile.

After all, wouldn’t a verification like a heart icon be supposed to determine that the person is real? It would be nicer if they just added a cross mark instead so the member does not get victimized by a phishing account. Or, in a better way, just remove them from the site so organic members do not get fooled by scams.

But, oh wait, they’re mostly fake accounts. Without the scam profiles, the website would just be a wasteland now, would it?

MyLocalCrush not only has no social media pages for it and does not allow you to link any of your social media profiles, but its empty landing page should have been a dead giveaway already. We understand that it is a racy site, but most dating apps make it your decision whether or not to link your social media account to your profile.

You can verify your human identity and show that you're not a robot by proving your social media account.

To nobody’s surprise, you'll immediately begin receiving messages from ladies after creating your profile. Their profile pictures may make it seem like they're interested in you, but they are not real - they are just controlled by bots. The images that you see are stolen from social media pages as these women are unaware that their profile pictures are used for exploitative websites such as MyLocalCrush.

Profiles range from subtly cute to full-on nudity. Just as previously stated, simulated profiles are marked with a heart icon. However, they just do not show up on the results page when you want to select an age range. When you click on a profile, only then will you find a heart icon. Just like that, every profile we clicked had it.

While we were scrolling through the site in hopes of an organic lifeform, we received messages from a wide range of profiles, the vast majority of which have left us with dubious links. In just an hour, our inbox got filled with over 2 pages of spam. 

Although, this time around, the profiles are smarter with at least a second picture in their pages. But, as with any “About me” description, it’s all sex.

The pricey messaging system on MyLocalCrush is the same as on the other dating sites managed by Meteor Interactive:

• Begins at $6 for 3 messages

• The biggest package costs $30 for 300 messages.

It doesn't matter how lengthy or short your message is — you'll be charged the same price.

If there is a typo, you will still need to pay it up. Do not forget that sites that require payment for any reason, even if it's just for one message, are not places you should spend your time.

Fortunately, there’s nothing much else to think about when signing up. All you have to do is enter your desired username, password, and email. There’s no need for a complete address although it will ask you which city you live in so the site can provide you with some fake women profiles in your area.

Alternatively, you can use your Gmail to register in less than a couple of minutes.

Unlike other Meteor Interactive B.V. dating sites, the user experience (UX) and interface are more streamlined than the rest. 

More so, the layout for messaging someone is clear with several options to boost your flirt game including some premade greetings, and even an option to bookmark a profile in case you want to go back to her while you scroll through other names. So if all you want from the dating site is just to browse through some fake profiles, it will do the job for you.

MyLocalCrush is a non-trustworthy dating site associated with a scammy dating company that released hundreds of similar sites.

For free members, this dating site feels too empty without letting you do your way unless you pay for the very expensive messages. 

For members who purchased credits to chat on this site, it's not better. It will be very hard to find any real woman who wants to talk to you here. I doubt if it is even possible. So to sum up, unless you're into talking to fake profiles and bots, you can safely ignore MyLocalCrush.
