MySecretNeighbors promises to match you with women around your area who are looking for men who can “help one woman feel special.” It is a website that claims to house ladies that are open-minded about their dirty deeds and intentions - hence the name of the site.
But, that is where we draw the line.
Just from a visual standpoint and the purpose of the website, MySecretNeighbors is another one of those typical dating sites that are filled with bots made for phishing gullible men. Remember, if it is too good to be true, then it must be fake. Such is the vibe of the dating site because all you have to do is just find a girl you like, talk to her, and make a score.
Let’s take a closer look at this website and check all the suspicious aspects of what makes it a scam.
To have a better understanding of the website, we should talk about its pros and cons.
We can't recommend MySecretNeighbors, however, there are other casual dating sites online that actually work and can help you to find a partner that you are looking for.
The only positives about MySecretNeighbors are no recurring charges on your card and a relatively easy registration process.
Most dating apps will have different charges: a monthly subscription for VIP status and some separate payments for premium messaging features. For MySecretNeighbors, only comes with the premium messaging privilege, but it comes with a catch which we will also talk about in the cons of the site.
At the very least, when you sign up, all you need to do is fill up the usual fields like your username, selected password, city, date of birth, and sexual preference (which we will get back to later). It also has a Google Sign-in but we highly recommend not using that.
Once you set everything, it just needs an email verification and you’re done. Of course, you will need to fill in your profile information and all that but it only takes a few minutes to complete.
And…that’s really it. Now, let’s check out all the fishy aspects of the site.
While signing up is simple, there are several hiccups in it as well - most especially when choosing your gender and looking for the gender of someone you may like.
First of all, the website’s pitch is “secretly insecure women looking for excitement”. We’re not being sexist to the other gender but why does the registration suddenly have a male category?
Second, when it asks where you live, it only allows American cities and nowhere else. While investigating the website, it stated which city we were in (guess what, our HQ is not even in the US). Suddenly, when we put in our home city it’s not a valid option?
So, for the sake of our investigation, we made a dummy account and set the city to Albany, New York.
The website already sparked red flags the moment it had six disclaimers, one of which says that some profiles “may” be fake. Another one asks that you allow the website to send you “horny notifications” and other product services. The worst part about it is as MySecretNeighbors will not take “no” for an answer.
As you can see, the “No, I reject” button is darkened, which can prompt anyone to believe that the “no” option is disabled. Yet, when we chose it the moment it asked for email notifications, it still proceeded to the next disclaimer.

Lo and behold, we have not even finished the disclaimer and there are tons of notifications already: desktop notifs, and DMs from five different women – all within a span of 30 seconds.
In fact, the fake messages don’t even try at all. Tell us, is there a woman normal enough who would type the same way as “Luv2getontopofu” in the screenshot above? Of course not.
Suspiciously, all the “members” on the website are beautiful – too beautiful even. Is that not another red flag in the system?
MySecretNeighbors does not shy away from allowing openly raunchy descriptions on the profiles as well just like the screenshot below.

Normally, in a legitimate dating app, you would find more profiles being more subtle and sincere rather than lewd ones. In the case of this website, it seems like everyone is horny.
On a side note, if you check out the smaller details, every profile comes with just one image. Wouldn’t a woman who needs a partner wants to persuade visitors to check out how hot she looks in different ways? Sure, some profiles in real dating apps may only include one image and others are just purely fake ones but at least there are still organic people there. MySecretNeighbors feels atrociously empty.
If everyone on the site is a genuine person who craves sex, users can score anytime, right? Unfortunately, it is all just bait. Men who are easily manipulated may just end up exhausting their money here.
Speaking of money, almost all features come with a paywall.
From the moment you type “Hi” to somebody, the website charges you. Come on, you just want to greet someone, right? Why do you need to pay at least $6 for 3 separate messages?
The worst part about the options includes the 300 messages pack. Come on, $300 for all that? A dollar just to send a kiss emoji? Get real.

MySecretNeighbors is associated with a company called Meteor Interactive B.V. that we came across multiple times while analyzing bad reputation dating sites like temptingtown.com or womenwithsecrets.com. They all share the same terms and conditions.
According to their Privacy Statement, the headquarters situates in Amsterdam, Netherlands. However, if they operate in the Netherlands, how come the website only targets desperate single men in America? That alone does not add up to any real purpose of building a dating website except to phish for cash on unsuspecting victims.
MySecretNeighbors has more than enough signals that give off any standard scam dating site. Bots fuel the profiles, over-monetization keeps you from making a normal conversation, and the user interface feels unfriendly for a visitor.
Its affiliated websites, temptingflirts, yourlocalfling, spicyflings, flirtingcity and many others use the same formula as MySecretNeighbors. Even the registration field is the same with non-provided cities outside the US. Plus, all their Terms & Conditions read the same, as if someone just copy-pasted it to multiple websites.
If you are looking to get comfy with a special someone, MySecretNeighbors is not the right site for you. We strongly advise against it because of its saturation of red flags that will scam you for money.
There are still a number of real dating apps out there, like Tinder and Bumble, albeit some still include fake profiles but that’s been part of the community since the days of Craigslist. Sure, finding women there that could be the right one for you may be tough but at least they’re real.
MySecretNeighbors is just one among hundreds of suspicious websites out there taking advantage of men desiring easy access to sex and other promiscuous activities. You will gain nothing but a feeling of getting fooled.
You can register and browse members on-site without paying. However, if you want to message anyone, you will have to buy credits.
It's definitely not the safest dating site out there. The amount of real profiles is questionable on this site, which means you might be talking with a bot or even a chat operator on behalf of a fake profile.
MySecretNeighbors uses scammy practices and openly talks about it in their Terms. For example, they state that the site offers fantasy entertainment Service and that (i) the profiles are fictional and your interactions will be with operators. If that doesn't sound like a scam to you, then we don't know what it is.
You don't have to cancel your Subscription as it is not a subscription-based dating site. If you added your credit card details to purchase credits on this site, they will not charge your credit card again.

It's a real site that you can find online, however, it is not a genuine dating site. It offers fantasy entertainment service rather than real online dating.
If you are using a little-known email provider, you might not receive a verification email from this dating site. Also, the website might be down as this dating network is not too concerned about its service improvements.
Once you have done this, your message history and account will be deleted.
Tinder is still the most downloaded dating app for mobile devices with over millions of members. Sure, the premium subscription and the option for a “super like” may be expensive but at least you deal with real people.

Whoring-Twenties does not shy away from what it presents. This dating site claims to provide you with promiscuous women near your area who want to hook up. It even gives you the option to choose between hooking up with a girl or bringing her to a threesome with you and your other special half. Just one message and you get to score with a lady that you like. Sounds too good to be true, isn’t it? The sleazy website may “guarantee” that you get to go home or visit the horny girl of your dreams but is it legit? From the landing page filled with fully nude women to the monetization, we took a closer look at Whoring-Twenties and why so many aspects of it are fake. Here is a breakdown of what we found:
