PickYourFling claims itself as a dating website that provides quick ways to meet people in your area for casual fun. According to the site's front page, you'll find attractive women to hook up with in no time. Sounds exciting!

But...Is that really true? Or just empty promises? Let's dive into a full review and see.

The company behind PickYourFling is Meteor Interactive B.V, which is associated with other scammy dating sites like MySecretNeighbors and MyLocalCrush that we reviewed in the past. Expect heavy similarities if you have ever been to those sites before.

Just as you check out the homepage of PickYourFling, it isn't very convincing, despite promoting itself as a fast way to get laid. If you're looking for assured sexual value, this isn't it, and the normal "register and have sex instantly" pitch doesn't cut it either.

In reality, it reuses the same layout as other Meteor Interactive adult dating sites from the front page design to the color scheme, and typeface. However, PickYourFling is more user-friendly in a variety of ways, but that does not change the fact that the website is full of fake profiles.

At Dating-pilot, we go through the details of each dating site we visit and test, including anything that may expose you because of the platform's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement. We found many red flags on this dating site that can not be ignored. 

Based on our findings, PickYourFling is full of fake profiles, and it seems like they are glorified here. Bot profiles are marked with a heart icon. Commonly, on any platform, an icon such as a heart or a check mark indicates that the person behind the profile is real. But not on PickYourFling.

Instead of removing spammy profiles, why are they highlighted with a positive symbol? If they don't plan on removing these, shouldn't they just put a red flag or an x-mark to let visitors know they're talking to a fake person?

Once you are registered and verified, you'll need to accept a few restrictions. Some are rather straightforward, like the vow to make sure you are a real person, accept cookies, and allow PickYourFling to email its newest offers.

However, one specific rule clearly discloses fake profiles on the platform. If you are attentive enough, you will see the following:

"I would like to communicate with all profiles on this website, even though I am aware that I cannot make physical arrangements with the fake entertainers' profiles, which are marked with a heart icon to separate them from the real member profiles."

As we mentioned, all "fake entertainers' profiles" are represented with a heart icon. It ruins the purpose of PickYourFling because the landing page says you can talk with any girl you like, get matched, and meet up. But once you enter the site, most of those profiles appear fake. So how can you actually meet up with anyone here? 

Perhaps one of the most delicate matters here is that Meteor Interactive can use your profile and share it with other platforms. We discovered it through its terms and conditions which state, "By posting information or content including but not limited to copyrighted content, name and likelenss and photographs to your profile pages or any public area of the Services, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant to us, our Partner Sites and Group Companies, a non-exclusive, royalty free, worldwide license to use, copy, publish, display, reformat, translate and distribute, and broadcast, such information or content and to grant and authorize sub-licenses of the same."

In short, you allow them to publicly use your provided profile information and freely exploit it on multiple dating sites. It includes your photos uploaded, about me text, and any other info that you have added under your profile. I bet many users of this site have no clue about it.

It came to us without a surprise that we received messages from a wide range of profiles within fifteen minutes. Some asked us to click on some links that looked too suspicious.

Most commonly, women profiles you visit come with a hardly noticeable heart icon which indicates they are fake. It makes us wonder why verified profiles don't get a mark of approval, but bots do.

Similarly to other dating sites by Meteor Interactive, fake ladies will start messaging you immediately after logging in. They make it look like they are really interested in hooking up with you, but it's all an act.

It's free to browse profiles on the website. However, you need to buy credits if you want to chat with someone, which will cost you from $1 to $2 per message. All messages, whether short and sweet like "hi pretty lady" or lengthy and emotional like "you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life" cost the same.

This network makes money luring you into chats with a bot, or even worse, live chat moderators talking on behalf of fake women accounts.

Most of the ladies on the site are so-called Entertainers, "physical connection with these profiles is not possible," as stated in their Terms. So why pay to talk to a fake profile on PickYourFling if you can do so with a real people on better dating sites instead, and for less money.

PickYourFling has no subscription plan as many other shady dating sites out there. You don't need VIP treatment on this site for Premium features, as all it charges is the actual messaging. If we have to say anything good about this scammy site, it would be the fact that you don't see your account balance going down every month because of their recurring charges. However, you can still be  fooled here at least once, when buying those expensicre credits to chat with fake profiles.

There is sufficient evidence to conclude that PickYourFling is a dating fraud. Like all Meteor Interactive sites, it's crawling with fake profiles, bot messages, and chat moderators. You will receive plenty of automated messages here and will waste your time and money on endless chats with people pretending to be someone else.

If you'd rather interact with digital personas than actual humans, this place can be fun for you, but if your goal is to meet up with someone in a real-life, it is not worth your time and money.
